Iran’s Crippling Economy

Iran has frightened the West with the development of its nuclear program. As a result, the West has imposed huge sanctions on them which have led to the demise of their currency and oil production.

The major sanctions which were put in 2011 has had a drastic impact on Iran’s oil production. Between 2011 and 2013, Iran has produced 400,000 million barrels less than what it used too.

This has devalued the Iranian rial by 80% and has reduced its overall oil prices by 10% (i.e. $76 billion income annually). In addition to this, Iran is now short on medical supplies making it extremely difficult to treat patients with HIV, cancer and respiratory problems.

The Shi’ites are now beginning reap the punishment of their evil deeds and we ask Allah (SWT) to cripple their economy further.

Allah (SWT) says: Surely those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder people from the way of Allah. So they will go on spending it, then it will be to them a source of regret, then they will be overcome. And to those who disbelieve will be gathered together in hell. (8:36)
